Shipping Policy


General Shipping:


Informshop.com currently ships within CANADA only. If you are inquiring about a purchase for outside of Canada please Contact Us in store to make purchases and delivery arrangements.

Shipping options are presented at time of checkout with differing options based on product selection.

Most shipping options are to ‘curb-side’ only. If you require in home delivery and/or product installation, please choose the Custom Shipping option upon checkout.

Possible options include but are not limited to:
Basic Shipping (FedEx Ground or equivalent)
Local Pickup
Local Delivery
Drop Ship (manufacturer to client direct delivery)
Over-Sized Shipping (curbside only)
White Glove Delivery (delivery, installation, and packing removal)

Shipping rates are non-negotiable.

Orders will only be shipped complete, with all purchased products leaving at the same time by a single carrier. If the order contains both ‘In-Stock’ and ‘Special Ordered’ items, the shipment will only occur after the ordered item is received and inspected in our warehouse from the manufacturer.

If you require a partial order to be shipped out please Contact Us in store. Any additional costs of shipping out a partial order are the responsibility of the client.


Client Obligations:


All orders require a signature upon delivery as proof of receipt.

It is the responsibility of the client to be available during time of delivery. Should a shipment become undeliverable, any additional expenses are the responsibility of the client (including but not limited to: shipment return to sender).

The client should take care to inspect both the packing and product upon arrival to avoid any issues with a possible claim. Should issues occur, clients are encouraged to document the problem by photography.

Certain shipping options require the client to handle the product into their homes and dispose of packaging, please be aware of the options you are choosing for delivery.

Inform Interiors Inc. or any associated carriers, does not move client owned furniture to make room for delivery of products. No exceptions.


Taxes and Duties:


All applicable taxes (based on client location) for the product will be calculated and applied to the price of the final purchase.

Any products shipped outside of Canada are subject to duties that are beyond the control of Inform Interiors Inc. All applicable duties are the responsibility of the end client.


Shipping and Billing Address:


Inform Interiors Inc. is able to ship to an address that differs from the Billing Address, please indicate the desired Shipping Address during the checkout process.

Orders can only be shipped to one address. If you require products to go to multiple address’s please purchase the items for each location individually or Contact Us in store for help.

We do not ship to PO Boxes under any circumstances.


Basic Shipping:


Basic shipping is available as an option for most items sold online and is handled by FedEx Ground.

Basic shipping is to curb side only and does not include, product setup or removal of packaging.


Local Pickup and Delivery:


Clients located within Vancouver are given the option for Local Pick-Up or Delivery.

Any products being picked up by a client are automatically taxed as goods for BC, with no exceptions.

Local clients may pick up goods as they arrive at our warehouse but only complete orders are delivered.

A copy of the invoice along with photo ID is required for all pick ups, with no exceptions.

Local deliveries will be coordinated as a first come first served basis with our Shipping Department. The client will be contacted by the Shipping Department to arrange an appropriate delivery time.

Local deliveries include:
• Organized delivery time of products with carrier and client
• Delivery and basic setup of all applicable products
• Removal of any excess materials (eg: packing products)

Drop Ship:


Drop Ship is offered as on option from select manufacturer’s only and is not available with any other promotion.

Pricing is calculated during the check out process by options given to Inform Interiors Inc. by each specific manufacturer.

Drop Shipping products often expedites the delivery.


Oversized Shipping:


To ensure the best possible price for the client, Over-Sized items will have the shipping fee calculated after the check out process. Informshop.com will at that point send a confirmation email to confirm the final price with the client.

Over-Sized shipping is to curb side only and is the responsibility of the client to take necessary measures to receive the product.

Orders will only be processed upon receipt of this confirmation from the client.


White-Glove Delivery:


White-Glove deliveries offer clients the option to have a full service delivery of the purchased products into their homes.

To ensure the best possible price for the client, White-Glove deliveries will have the shipping fee calculated after the check out process. The client will be contacted by our Shipping Department, to coordinate additional information to ensure the safe delivery of the product into the clients home.

White-Glove delivery includes:
• Organized delivery time of products with carrier and client
• Delivery and basic setup of all applicable products
• Removal of any excess materials (eg: packing products)

Clients are required to prepare the space to receive any product (eg: allocating necessary room).


In-Stock Goods:


Inform Interiors Inc. and Informshop.com works to keep stock of the most popular products. Sudden increases in demand can affect the items we have in stock.

Please Contact Us if you would like to know the availability of specific products.

‘In Stock’ items will ship within 3 business days of the order receipt.


Lead Times:


Any applicable lead times will be indicated on the product page. Lead times are a good faith estimate only and by no means considered a contractual agreement to produce the product to the client within the stated time frame.
Inform Interiors staff will me every effort to keep the customer up to date with the status of their product.


Additional Shipping Options:


If you require different shipping options than those provided online please select the Custom Shipping option upon checkout or Contact Us in store. Any applicable charges will be applied separately.


Expedited or Express Shipping:


Expedited shipping is currently not available online. If you require a product by a certain date please select Custome Shipping upon checkout or Contact Us in store.


Shipping Outside of Canada:


All products being transported outside of Canada will be shipped at the clients cost (including but not limited to transport cost, additional packing costs, customs and duties, and installation). Special arrangements must be made.


Shipment Tracking:


The status of your order can be viewed online by logging into your ‘My Inform’ page.

Any applicable tracking information for an order will be sent with the shipment confirmation once the products leave our warehouse.

Product Packaging:


Product packaging is considered as part of the product purchase. Removal and break down of packaging is not the responsibility of Inform Interiors Inc. or the selected shipper unless previously discussed and agreed upon. Please Contact Us in store for further information.

Different manufacturers use different packing methods, please be prepared to dispose of a variety of packing materials (eg: cardboard, Styrofoam, wood crating).

Loss and Damage Due to Shipping:


Inform Interiors Inc. takes the utmost care in ensuring that products are shipped and received intact.

Should the product arrive with any issues, it is the soul responsibility of the client to place a claim with the selected carrier.

Inform Interiors Inc. will provide any information possible to assist the client with the claim but takes no responsibility for damages and losses due to shipping.
